Harbour City Custom Cycles appeared on the map April 3rd, 2003. The demand for an after-market Harley Davidson performance shop and custom bike builder in the central island was evident. We are located in the center of Nanaimo (the Harbour City), British Columbia.

Growing from the seed of an empty building, we focused on becoming a top-notch motorcycle shop, including high-performance, general repairs, custom building, modifications, metal polishing, parts, and accessories (for the motorcycle enthusiasts).

Steve Elliott has been working on stock and customized bikes for over 20 years, first starting at Harley Engines of Nanaimo. He became experienced in all aspects of performance and maintenance.

Applying his skills in metal polishing, he assisted Scott Stadnyk, co-worker of Harley Engines of Nanaimo, in the restoration of a complete pan head collection from 1948-1965, a total of 18 classics.

Steve was also part of a South Side Cycles top fuel race team, which held the Canadian speed record for 5 years. Throughout that time he was a part of building frames for Van Isle Frames, a frame manufacturing company, subsidiary of South Side Cycles, Nanaimo, BC.

Steve started building his own bikes, one of which, together with certified Harley Davidson mechanics Don Newlove and Scott Stadnyk from South Side Cycles, was an award-winning custom chopper. Steve pilots his own progas 2-stage nitrous oxide 142 cubic inch sand drag bike with a baby B&J 2-speed trans with a monoshock chassis. His best ET is 4.45 in 300ft. To the best of his knowledge the fastest ET in nitrous extreme class is 3.68 in 300ft, done by Team Overkill Racing. I wish to offer a special thanks to Larry McKenzie and Team Overkill Racing for all of their support with the Hell on Wheels racing team Nanaimo.

From stock restoration to wild as your pocket book can afford, we use the best parts and products available on the market. SO if you want a stocker or a stroker or anywhere in between, bring your dream project down and we'll get ya rollin'!
